The Mattress itself has 3 different layers that work together to provide the dual comfort. In the middle of the bed is a 7″ supportive core made from a high-density foam. The Plush side of the bed has 2″ of a unique foam full of millions of tiny holes that provide softness and breathability. The Firm side has 2″ of gel infused memory foam that conforms and supports the sleepers body.
But how does it sleep?
Plush Side
The plush side of Bill’s bed is very soft and comfortable. It gets a 5 out of 10 firmness (10 being the firmest). It is very soft and does a great job allowing your body to sink. The top foam layer is made of billions of microscopic air capsules allowing the sleeper to disperse their weight evenly and comfortably. You will feel very snuggly when you crawl into bed with this side.
Firm Side
The firmer side is harder than the Plush, but still not excessively firm. It gets a 7 out of 10 firmness. (10 being the firmest) Bill’s Bed uses a gel infused memory foam that does a good job being firm yet not creating any pressure points. The gel not only keeps sleepers cooler, it takes pressure off the hips and shoulders.
