Sleeping on the Suissly Medium
Firmness and Support
The medium Suissly received a 4 out of 10 in our firmness rating (10 being the firmest). The combination of Dream foam and memory foam give a genuinely cloud-like feel. The medium softness is a definite choice for any side sleepers. We do feel that it might be a bit too soft for back sleepers who should check out the Suissly medium firm.
We did find that there was ample support provided by the 7″ high-density foam foundation layer. It promotes a comfortable sleep without the sagginess that comes from other soft mattresses. The foam base doesn’t provide as much support as the pocket springs, but it didn’t cause us any pain.
Sinkage
We recorded a sinkage of 3″ with the medium mattress. This is the highest amount of any of the Suissly beds, including the medium soft. Sleepers looking to be snuggled by their bed will really enjoy this mattress.
Temperature and off-gassing
With such a soft bed, the temperature is always going to be an issue. Suissly has created an entirely unique Dream Foam top layer designed to cool the sleeper. The Dream Foam has tiny air holes that pull the heat away from the sleeper. The result is a super soft bed that stays cool even in warmer climates.
We found no off-gassing with any of the Suissly mattresses. Suissly focuses heavily on their organic materials and earth friendly manufacturing. Everything part of the bed goes beyond certified regulations.

Mattress cover
A beautifully knitted cover that can be easily removed. The surface is very soft and wicks the heat and moisture away from the sleeper.
Top layer

Middle Layer
1.5″ of standard memory foam that balances the softer top and the firmer layer beneath.
Bottom Layer
7″ of high-density foam give the sleeper the support and foundation needed.
