Is Dorothy At The End Of The Yellow Brick Road?

The Door Review Kansas Collection

The Door

Price: $30

We know that Dorothy is alive. Now you just need to find her, but for who?

The Scarecrow? Patchwork? Ozma? Regardless of your allegiances, you need to find her before someone else does.

The Door Review

The first episode of the Kansas Collection was called the Key.  It introduced us to the current world of Oz. The second episode was called the Axe and it introduced us to the Lion, Tin Man, and Glinda the good witch. The Door is the third episode of the collection and we finally find Dorothy. Take a step with me into next chapter of this immersive series.

The Good…

-The Acting. The Speakeasy Society never lets me down when it comes to quality of acting. The Door is filled with some intense moments and I find myself getting more and more caught up in the story. I look forward as things continue to heat up between the characters.

-The Concept. I love the idea of a series of immersive theater events. I feel like I am in a real life game of thrones, watching from inside the TV. If you want a 4D TV show experience, the Kansas Collection is the best you will find.

Constructive Criticism…

-The Experience. This overall experience of The Room was less involved than the first two parts. I was only in one room for the entire event. I also felt less involved in the experience than I did in the Axe or Key. I found myself more of an observer and less an person in their world.

The Door Review Summary

I am really enjoying the Kansas Collection. It’s not too late to get on board and catch up to the story. I eagerly look forward to the next part to find out what is coming next.

I give the Door a 9.1 rating.
