We loved this month’s Vinyl. It is probably one of our favorite Vinyl me please albums we have received. Nina Simone has created a mix of songs that speak to the soul as much as our ears. Her voice is truly unique and haunting in its way. We listened to the record once and then put it on again. If you like slow blues jazz music, December’s Vinyl Me Please would have been perfect.
The artwork is a painting of Nina Simone with a halo of light around her star-filled afro. While we think the artwork is very nice, this isn’t one that we will be putting up on our wall.
The Cocktail of the month was a Bourbon Milk Punch. Customers can sit back with milk and rum combination. We thought this drink was one of the yummier monthly cocktails.

The Verdict: Amazing
December’s Vinyl Me Please spoke to us in ways none of the other months have. We couldn’t decide if we liked Nina’s unique voice or the intensity of her slow jazz, more. In the end, we just sat back with our cocktail and listened to the record on repeat.
