The Grand Paradise Review

This latest theater takes place in the 70’s, at a hotel named The Grand Paradise. A tropical hotel where guests go to relax, but never seem to make it back home. There was a strange connection to the Eagles, Hotel California song. You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.

Guests are encouraged to wander around and explore, often getting caught up in the story. The number of actors leads to a good number of very intimate moments, unique to each guest. The story is interesting, while still vague enough to understand if you miss parts.  We won’t do the Grand Paradise any justice if we try to explain what happens. It amazing experience and we recommend it to any other theater lovers.

Drinks are available before, during and after the event. The Grand Paradise was one of the few events where they actually encourage drinking during the event. The theater is located in a quickly gentrifying section of Brooklyn, though it is still a bit rough.

We recommend bringing comfortable shoes, but there was plenty of places you could sit if you like. There is a coat check and everyone there was super friendly. The Grand Paradise is a bit expensive, but well worth it if you are into interactive theater. If you are a student, make sure to bring your student id. You can get tickets for half off.

The Grand Paradise Review Summary

We loved the Grand Paradise. Really good immersive theaters are hard to find. Make sure you find this little oasis in Brooklyn before it disappears. Just remember, don’t drink the water.
