Zombie Joes Urban Death Rating
Zombie Joe’s Urban Death Review
Around each corner is a new horror, some bizarre beyond belief. We saw a naked woman cackling with blood running out of her mouth. A huge naked fat man struggled in a chair. There was even a clown with a truly demonic cackle.
After braving the maze, the audience is led into a small intimate room. Here we watched quick scary montages of horror. The actors were dedicated to their roles and the audience responded.
Our favorite sketches included the aristocratic dancing with his dead bride. That short ended with them kissing as black blood ran from her mouth. We also really enjoyed the slug creature who slithered around the set, eliciting quite a few screams.
When the show finished, we were handed our flashlight back. Then we ran through the maze again. There were new horrors to face us this time. Luckily we were brave and made it through.

The Actors
They go all out! We couldn’t find one actor who wasn’t into their role. It’s easier for an audience to be scared when the actors are so dedicated. It’s doubly impressive when so many of the sketches were physically intensive.
The Price
Urban Death won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Customers get a good maze and show for only $15. This is a bargain when compared to how expensive most of the other shows are.

The Bad
Some of the Subject Matter
This is a personal input, so take it with a grain of salt. We loved most of the scares, but a few seemed inappropriate. One of the shorts included a man watching kids playing. Then he reached down and pulled out a gun, ready to shoot them. This felt a bit out of the vibe for the rest of the scares. We understand that it is good shock value, but it rubbed us wrong.
The set.
The maze was hanging black plastic sheets that could often shift and move. We ended up getting turned around and confused. The problem was we had other couple following right behind us. So we ended up ruining their scares as we bunched up.
