Recieving our Quip Toothbrush
When we first opened our first package from Quip, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect. What we found was a super clean and beautifully designed toothbrush kit. They include an Ikea style guide that explained how everything worked. It even gave a brief explanation of the best brushing procedures.
The Quip brush is ready to go right out of the box. We were brushing mere moments after unpacking. The AAA battery was already included and attaching the Quip holder to the wall took a second. The functionality of this toothbrush matches the gorgeous design nicely.
Mouth Feel
Sticking the Quip in our mouth was a completely new experience. The electric brush vibrates instead of spinning like other electric brushes. It lends to a slight vibration that aided our brushing instead of fighting it. After using the brush for a week, it feels weird to brush without the vibration. Every 30 seconds the brush will let you know to switch parts of your mouth. Then after two minutes the toothbrush cuts off to let you know its time.
One of the features that surprised us the most was the timer. Unlike the other electric brushes, Quip lets you know to switch parts of your mouth every 30 seconds. This often reminder kept us focused on brushing and hitting all the parts of our mouth. The result is a more thorough clean than we ever got with the 2-minute reminder only.
Everything about the Quip brush seemed designed to make customers more aware of their brushing habits. By using a subscription model, Quip is almost forcing us to remember that we need to change out the head when the bristles are old. The brush itself guides customers with timed warnings to hit all the teeth, even those at the very back. Our teeth have been thanking us ever since we wrote our Quip Toothbrush review.

The Quip was also ideal for our travel experience. The came with a plastic tube to keep our toothbrush clean. Customers can easily break the Quip apart if space is at a premium. They even include a small tube of Quip toothpaste for your travel needs as well.

The body is a sleek, brushed metal with a surprisingly sturdy weight to it. The toothpaste has a great taste that didn’t overwhelm our mouth. We found the heads easy to exchange, popping off with almost no effort.

Quip has some different purchasing options. Customers can get the Toothbrush and 3-month heads and toothpaste subscription plan. Families or Couples can get multiple toothbrushes at a significant discount. Or customers can get the regular Quip toothbrush and cancel the subscription service altogether.

The Quip does seem expensive at first when talking about toothbrushes. Yet, compared to the sonic care, it is downright cheap.
