The Doze comes in at 5 out of 10 in our firmness rating (10 being the firmest). Customers have found that it is very soft when they first unbox, but it firms up over the next couple of days. The softness comes from the premium gel memory foam that forms the top layer.
Beneath the soft top layer is a 7-inch moderate density foam that provides the support. This mattress is ideal for side sleepers as the material allows gradual weight dispersal. Your hips and shoulders will thank you for not sleeping on a super firm mattress. We found almost no horizontal movement, but also little responsiveness. Doze claims their bed is ideal for nighttime activities, even with the softer top.

With a sinkage of 3 inches, the Doze is a softer bed. The gel memory foam will conform to your body giving a comfortable sleep. The Doze is a mattress for people who like softer beds.
Temperature and Off-Gassing
The premium gel memory foam is designed to keep the sleeper cool. It pulls the heat down and out of the mattress. The gel foam is necessary as softer beds tend to trap more heat.
