The Eight smart mattress a 6 out or 10 on the firmness scale (10 being the firmest). The top layer of the Eight Smart is a reactive foam that reacts like latex but feels like foam. This unique material gives a nice bounce while still being comfortable.
The Eight Smart supports the sleeper without creating any pressure points. It accomplishes this with a unique cell structure that gives comfort while providing top notch support. A blending of transitional foam layers covers a 4-inch high-density support foam. We haven’t found any customers compaining from sleeping on the Eight Smart Mattress.
SINKAGE
Our research found a sinkage of 2 inches with the Eight Smart bed. This depth the amount we would expect with a bed of this firmness level. It gives sleepers the right amount of comfort without sacrificing support.
HEAT AND OFF-GASSING
The Eight Sleep is unlike any other mattress when it comes to heating and temperatures. First of all, the top layer is a unique foam specially designed to stay cool.
Furthermore, the Eight Sleep Mattress includes a warming feature for those cold nights. Sleepers can set the temperature for each side of the bed. The Eight mattress allows couples to dial in unique temperatures for each sleeper.
