VNYL is a curated vinyl record subscription service that sends out 1-3 new records each month based on a personal curator's picks. For November 2016, our curator Dylan chose Lissie's album Back to Forever, knowing our love of Fleetwood Mac.
Dylan was spot on with the suggestion. Lissie's voice sounds almost exactly like Stevie Nicks, and her music mimics Fleetwood Mac closely enough that the pick felt personally tailored. A few songs on Back to Forever failed to hold our interest, but on the whole we loved the album.
We're still new to the VNYL service, but on the strength of this first curated pick, it has succeeded with flying colors — and we're already looking forward to next month's record.
