After reviewing the Avocado Green Mattress, we were curious whether the same company's new Green Pillow could deliver the same feel in a different form — and it largely does, built from the same natural materials in a medium-plush pillow.
The 100% organic cotton knit cover looks and feels soft enough that we were tempted to sleep directly against it rather than adding our own pillowcase; it's just not machine washable, so a cover is worth using in practice. Inside, the filling is a genuinely unusual mix — natural kapok fiber (the seed-pod fluff of the silk cotton tree) blended with latex ribbons, giving it a natural, almost wool-like look rather than the uniform block of a memory foam pillow.
The result is a pillow that stays cool through the night while still offering real neck and head support, landing at a medium firmness that's soft without going flat under the head.
